A leader should be like water. Agile, free flowing , deep and making way for others. Like water nourishes life , helps them survive, a leader needs to nurture their people and give them opportunity to grow.

A true leader is never a self declared leader. The essence of a true leader lies in their humility, empathy and the desire to do good for all and not just for themselves.

Every individual is a leader in their own way in different situation in their life , probably even without trying to be one. At home ,as parents, you are the leaders,: you are showing the way of life to your children. At your work you are inspiring someone to be like you, you are a Leader.

A good leader is the one with whom you feel connected , you can approach them , who has your back, who shares your failures and shares his success, they inspire you, they ignite the desire in you to do something meaningful with your life. They make you want to be brave like them , understand people and their emotions, be rational. They are willing to look through other’s lens. They are not the ones to play the blame game when things are spiralling down. They don’t expect to be treated like kings, but will be happy to work along with their people at the grass root level. They don’t just give out a problem to be solved, they sit with you and help you to find the solution. A “Good Leader” is leading you to your excellence and bringing out your leadership.

  • When I felt loved…

    Bloganuary writing prompt
Can you share a positive example of where you’ve felt loved?

When I came into this world I felt loved, when I took my first steps I felt love, when I started to grow and excel in everything I attempted , I felt love , Love that made my soul wet like the sea waves. Then came a time life decided to make me try it’s different flavor. When nothing seemed to go the way you wanted or you felt that you ended up being a disappointment for your loved ones, at that point the support that my parents and siblings showed was love. When I had forgotten what it felt like to be adored , valued , felt depressed and unwanted, with no motivation in life, tiny fingers held my hand , with a toothless grin, demanded I put him to sleep in my arms, watching him dream away to my lullaby I felt love! When my partner fought with me to break my limitations and pushed me to go and grab the world with my bare hands, I felt LOVE ❤
